How It Works

Consultation - it's free!
It starts with an initial chat - whether a physical or virtual meet; a simple phone call or an email. We will talk through your design ideas, any inspirational images you like to share with us, your preferred metal and gemstones, and discuss your budget. If you don’t have a clear idea (or budget) in mind, we will guide you through various options to help you decide. Once we have a good idea of what you want, we will give you a price quote for your approval.

Once you approve our quote, we will get started on the work! At this point, we will request a 50% non-refundable* deposit prior to CAD designing, gemstone sourcing and production of your custom piece. This deposit goes towards the final cost of producing your piece.

*Please note, this deposit is non-refundable as we use this to purchase your custom selected gemstone and to start work. All custom made pieces to your liking are non-refundable. Please read our custom FAQs to learn more.

Sketch It Out
If you share an inspirational design with us, we will use this as the reference image. If not, our artisans will sketch your design concept based on our consultation. We begin with creating artistic sketches of your piece (based on the design, either hand drawn or 3D sketch). We will share this with you for your feedback, and we won't stop till you say its perfect!
If you decide to change your base design mid way, we will incorporate your ideas and let you know if there is an update to your quote as well. This update will be based on any extra metal usage or gemstones added in. We will work collaboratively with you until we find the look that feels just right.

Sourcing Your Gemstone(s)
You get to select your own gemstone - yes you read that right! Based on your choice of gemstone, color hue and budget, we will show you an array of gemstones so you can pick the one you truly love. Don't worry, we will provide all the guidance and advice needed to help you choose the perfect stones.

Design Rendering (3D print & gold cast)
Our team creates realistic 3D renderings that show exactly how the your custom ring will look. First, a 3D sketch with detailed breakdowns of dimensions and size. We will tweak and tune this until we hear you say, “It looks perfect!”. Once you approve the sketch, we print a 3D model true to dimensions and share videos. This step helps you get a better sense of how your custom ring will look on hand. Last, we proceed to make a gold cast of your ring.

Production
Our super talented master jewelers now work to bring your custom design to life. All our custom rings and jewelry are finished by the hands of talented Sri Lankan goldsmiths 🇱🇰

Quality Check
We take a macro view of your ring to make sure there are no errors or incomplete finishes. After the check, we give the ring a good cleaning in the ultrasonic cleaner. We will send videos for you too! At this point, you will proceed to make the balance 50% quote of the ring.

Doorstep Delivery
We deliver your special piece for FREE right to your doorstep! We deliver to over 45 countries with clearance, taxes and custom duties paid by us - so you have no ugly surprises! Proposal-ready walnut ring box, warranty card, care card and gemstone certificate included.
