STORE POLICY

Our store policy clearly outlines everything you need to know about shopping your jewelry with us. The terms and conditions of sale have been prepared as recommended by the Norwegian Consumer Protection Authority.

The buyer is the consumer who makes the order, and is referred to in the following as the buyer/buyer/you/your.

PRICE

All prices are stated and billed in NOK and include 25% VAT. The stated price for the goods and services is the total price the buyer must pay. Any costs that the seller has not informed about before the purchase shall not be borne by the buyer. 

 

Kollectivet reserves the right to updated prices in the online store without any prior notice, and the right for any errors that may occur due to technical reasons.

PAYMENT

We accept Stripe, PayPal and Klarna as our payment options.

Strip: All card payments including Visa, MasterCard, American Express etc. are accepted.  Please note that all payments will be processed only in Norwegian Kroner (NOK). The website uses a inbuilt currency converter to give you an idea of price in your desired currency. The actual charge on your bank statement may slightly vary based on your bank's exchange rate.

Invoice: We also offer direct payment/bank transfer via invoice. Please contact us (gayara@kollectivet.com) and we will send you an invoice by email with the relevant bank details. The payment deadline appears on the invoice and is a minimum of 14 days from receipt. Buyers under the age of 18 cannot pay with a subsequent invoice.

Klarna:  In collaboration with Klarna AB, we offer easy checkout, buy now-pay later payments and installment payment options. You can choose to pay the entire amount at once or split the payment into smaller parts till upto 24 months. In case of installment payments, there will be an interest added to the purchase price and this interest rate is set by Klarna. Klarna checkout is administered by Klarna AB. For more information and questions concerning Klarna, please reach out to their customer service.

DELIVERY

Ready to ship pieces

  • Norway: You can choose your desired option upon checkout.

    • ​PostNord: free delivery to your nearest post office or pick up point within 4-7 business days.

    • DHL Express: NOK 150 for climate neutral delivery within 1-2 days to your doorstep. You have the flexibility to choose your own delivery date and time slot.

  • International shipments: We offer global doorstep delivery via DHL Express On Demand Climate Neutral delivery to selected countries. Depending on your location, it can take between 2-5 days for the order to arrive. Please read our shipping policy to check countries we ship to and the relevant shipping costs.

For pre-order and custom made pieces

The delivery time will vary based on design and gemstone availability. The expected delivery time will be stated in the product description. If not, we require a minimum of 6-9 weeks to process custom orders.

Import Customs, Duties & Taxes​

  • Norway: All prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT.  The price you see is the final price you pay!

  • International Shipments: Kollectivet uses incoterms DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) which means that there are no extra costs to be paid when you receive your package! All taxes, customs and import duty are prepaid by Kollectivet AS.

Shipment Delays

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the address given in the order is correct. During holidays, busy periods, government regulations or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, longer delivery times may occur. We will keep you informed of any delivery delays.

 

Unclaimed packages (Norway only)

For packages that are not picked up within the time limit, Kollectivet reserves the right to debit a fee of NOK 150 for the costs incurred in retrieving the package. Unclaimed packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In-Stock Purchases: If you (buyer) are not completely satisfied with the purchase, you have by law a 14-day unconditional right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. The item must be in its original condition (not be used, damaged, or washed), and original undamaged packaging and labels to be eligible for a refund. The buyer must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. Refunds will be processed after the item has been received and post inspection. Goods that are returned without original packaging, show signs of use or have damage will not be accepted for a refund. If the 14-day deadline has expired, we can unfortunately not offer you a refund.
 

Custom made / Pre-order: Any product that has been manufactured according to the buyer's specifications, such as customized ring sizes, custom design, made to order items or have been given a clear personal touch (such as engraving), do not have the right of cancellation and thus cannot be returned. If you find any errors in your custom order, please contact us immediately so we can help you.

DEFECTS IN THE GOODS
The buyer's rights and deadline for complaints

If there is a defect in the goods or the item is damaged on delivery, the buyer is responsible to report said defect/damage to the seller as soon as possible, preferably on the day of arrival and maximum within 7 days of receipt. It is important that you give us detailed insight of any damage that has occurred, so we can help solve the problem - this includes sending us photos of the item and packaging together with your order number and full name. Take good care of both the product and the packaging until you hear from us again.

Complaints should be made in writing, ideally via email.

WARRANTY

A warranty given by the seller gives the buyer rights in addition to those the buyer already has under non-derogable legislation. A guarantee thus implies no restrictions on the buyer's right to complaint and claim in the event of delay or defects

PERSONAL DATA

The controller for collected personal data is the seller. Unless the buyer agrees to something else, the seller, in line with the Personal Data Act, can only obtain and store the personal data that is necessary for the seller to be able to carry out the obligations under the agreement. The buyer's personal data will only be disclosed to others if it is necessary for the seller to complete the agreement with the buyer, or in statutory cases. All customer information is handled with great discretion and under no circumstances will it be passed on to outsiders. Read our privacy policy to learn more.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Complaints must be addressed to the seller within a reasonable time. The parties must try to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the buyer can contact the Consumer Council for mediation. The Consumer Council is available on phone 23 400 500 or visit forbrukerradet.no.

The European Commission's complaints portal can also be used if you wish to lodge a complaint. It is particularly relevant if you are a consumer living in another EU country. The complaint is filed here:  http://ec.europa.eu/odr

DISCLAIMER

Although Kollectivet strives to display the correct descriptions, images and pricing on our website and social media accounts, errors may occur. If you have been charged the wrong amount, Kollectivet will give you the option to cancel the order. 

 

Kollectivet also reserves the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch should we find that the price is incorrect. In such case we will notify you by email. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically cancelled.

Kollectivet has the right to adjust prices, involve additional cost, and change product information such as product pictures and offers without notice.
